Although she had been hairstyling since a young age, Farah vowed to become a full time natural hairstylist on her 21st birthday, 14 years ago.

At the time, she performed multiple styles such as  : loc maintenance, braids, cornrows, twists, etc. Over the years, she developed a passion for locs and realized a lack of resources and references for locs  in  Montreal.

She founded L'ABC des Locs in 2019, her salon which exclusively caters to a clientele that has locs, in order to give this hairstyle the recognition it deserves.
