Although she had been hairdressing since a young age, Farah vowed to become a hairdresser on her 21st birthday, 13 years ago, and went into it full-time.

At the time, a hairdresser in natural hair care, Farah did everything: retwists, braids, ti-kouris, extensions, twists, etc. Over the years, she developed a passion for rentals and realized a lack of resources and references in rentals in the industry in Montreal.

She founded L'ABC des Locs in 2019, her salon specializing in locs in order to give this hairstyle, which for her is so practical, versatile and liberating, the love and recognition it deserves.
